Is TinyMail free?

Yes. TinyMail provides free temporary inboxes without requiring an account. The service is receive-only and limits request rates, message counts, and storage to prevent abuse.

How long are emails kept?

Emails are automatically deleted after 3 days. This is the live-service retention period, not a guarantee of permanent deletion; backup copies may remain longer.

Are inboxes private?

No. Inboxes are public to anyone who knows or guesses the address. That person can read or delete messages through the web and API. Do not use TinyMail for confidential email.

Can I send email?

No. TinyMail is receive-only. It does not offer sending, replies, or an SMTP relay.

How do I add a custom domain?

Add an MX record pointing to mx.tinymail.live, wait for DNS propagation, check the MX record, then add the domain on the Add domain page or through the API. A domain receives email only when its MX configuration is correct. Custom-domain inboxes remain public, and third-party services may block them. Acceptance and delivery are not guaranteed. Never share registrar credentials.

Is there a REST API?

Yes. The REST API lets you list message metadata, read details, delete messages, add domains, get random domains, and check MX records. Most endpoints do not require a token; listing all online domains requires the X-Domain-Token header. See the API documentation.
